I don't have so much a problem with them making Boba Fett closer to neutral morality than he was presented as in the movies, but I do agree with the first part of your paragraph. Especially with the more recent episodes that have been almost entirely about Din Djarin rather than the actual main character of the show: it just feels far too corporate-minded for me to be able to sit back and enjoy the show. It feels like I'm just being stuffed with advertising now. I miss the first season of Mandalorian. Sure, it had its own advertising (Grogu's existence), but it tried to be its own thing and I respect it for that.
